Description
A delicious and easy cake packed with rhubarb.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Chopped Rhubarb
- 1 cup Sugar
- 3 ounces, weight Package, Strawberry Gelatin
- 18-¼ ounces, weight Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 stick Butter
- 1 cup Water
Preparation
In a bowl, toss rhubarb with sugar. Let it sit for 20–30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
Spread rhubarb/sugar mixture on the bottom of baking dish. Sprinkle with strawberry gelatin, followed by dry cake mix.
In a saucepan, melt butter and water. Pour evenly over dry cake mix.
Bake for 40–45 minutes or until brown.
