Description
This salsa is the perfect combination of smoky and spicy. Perfect with chips, over a taco, or mixed in a tostada.
Ingredients
- 4 whole Roma Tomatoes, Cut In Half
- 1 cup Onion, Thick Slices
- 4 cloves Garlic, Unpeeled
- 1 whole Chipotle Pepper In Adobo Sauce
- Salt To Taste
- ¼ cups Cilantro
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 415ºF. Roast the tomatoes, onion and garlic on a cookie sheet for 15 minutes.
Add the roasted tomatoes, onion, peeled garlic, chipotle pepper, salt and cilantro to a blender or food processor and pulse about 7 times until smooth.
Serve with chips or for topping tostadas.
