Roasted Garlic Avocado Hummus

Description

A super quick and simple recipe. If all the ingredients are ready, the recipe comes together in a jiffy.

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves Garlic, Unpeeled
  • 1 whole Ripe Avocado
  • 1 cup Cooked Chickpeas, Drained
  • 1 whole Jalapeno, Remove Seeds To Reduce Heat Level If Desired
  • ¼ cups Tahini Sauce
  • 1 whole Lemon, Juiced
  • ½ teaspoons Sea Salt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 450°F. Wrap garlic cloves in aluminium foil. Roast for about 15 minutes or until garlic becomes soft and tender. Let cool then peel garlic.

Cut avocado and remove the pit. Use a spoon to scoop out flesh.

In the bowl of a food processor, add avocado, chickpeas, jalapeno, tahini sauce, roasted garlic, lemon juice and sea salt. Pulse for 1 minute. Scrape sides of bowl and pulse again until smooth.

Transfer to serving bowl and serve with crisp vegetables or crackers.
