Description

A delicious cheesy garlic bread that looks beautiful.

Ingredients

  • ½ heads Roasted Garlic (1/2 A Head Should Be Roughly 4-5 Cloves) (See Note For Roasting Instructions)
  • 1 package Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough (8 Ounce Size Or Enough For 6 Rolls)
  • 3 ounces, weight Brie Or More (rind Optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to the temperature recommended on the dough package.

Open the can of dough. Press two triangles of crescent roll dough together on a work surface. Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the rectangle of roll dough into two long rectangles. Drop pieces of brie and garlic down the center of the dough rectangle. Fold the sides of the dough up to form a log. Place the log on a baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling. Lift one end of each log and twist one full turn. Lift the other end and twist one full turn.

Bake according to crescent roll package directions. My package said to bake at 375 F for about 15 minutes.

*Note: To roast the garlic, use a sharp knife to cut the top off of a head of garlic. Wrap it in foil, drizzling with olive oil if desired. Place foil wrapped garlic in the oven, and bake at 400 F for 30-40 minutes. Garlic should be brown in color. Once it has cooled, squeeze garlic head to remove individual cloves.
