Roasted Pesto Chicken perfectly combines the simplicity of a roasted chicken with the fresh herb flavor of pesto for a deliciously flavorful dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 pounds Whole Chicken
- 2 Tablespoons Pesto Sauce
Preparation
Preheat oven to 475°F.
Rub pesto all over chicken including under the skin and place in baking pan. Bake 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours more, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Let rest for 15 minutes before carving.
