Sausage Feta Quiche

    Description

    A hearty quiche with sausage, peppers, onion, tomatoes, and feta cheese that will put you in the perfect mood for chilly weather.

    Ingredients

    • 12 ounces, weight Breakfast Pork Sausage With SAGE
    • 6 ounces, weight Feta Cheese Crumbles
    • ½ whole Tomato, Diced
    • ½ whole Onion, Diced
    • 1 whole Bell Pepper, Diced
    • 2 whole Cloves Garlic, Minced
    • 6 whole Eggs
    • ⅓ cups Half-and-Half (or Heavy Cream)
    • 1 dash Salt, Pepper, Nutmeg To Taste
    • 2 whole Frozen Pie Crusts

    Preparation

    Cook sausage over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain grease if necessary.

    In a large mixing bowl, add sausage, feta cheese, vegetables, and garlic to bowl. Add eggs and milk and stir, making sure liquid coats everything. Add a dash of salt, pepper, and nutmeg, to taste.

    Put each of your pie crusts into a pie dish. Pour equal amounts of the egg mixture into each.

    Bake at 425 degrees F for 25-30 minutes.
