Description
This is the BEST sausage gravy you will ever eat! With homemade baking powder biscuits, or as a hashbrown topper, this gravy takes the cake!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Pork Sausage
- ¼ cups Butter
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 package (2 Oz. Size) Onion Soup Mix
- 2 cups Non-dairy Creamer
- ¾ gallons Water
- Salt And Pepper
Preparation
Brown sausage in a pan. Add the butter, flour and onion soup mix to the cooked sausage. In a separate bowl, mix the creamer and water. When thoroughly mixed, add to the sausage. Cook on medium head until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Makes 3/4 gallon gravy.
I set some aside for immediate usage, and I freeze the rest in freezer bags. Wonderful served with baking powder biscuits or as a topper for hashbrowns, or eggs.
