Description
A simple, quick method for making homemade sausage. Can be used immediately!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Turkey, Beef, Or Chicken
- 1 teaspoon Ground/rubbed Sage
- 1-¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper
- ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1 pinch Onion Powder
Preparation
Place meat in a bowl, add all spices and mix thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap and use within 2 days.
Note: Only use the rolls of ground meat at the store. The snaky looking stuff doesn’t have the right texture and it WILL crumble and fall apart on you. Also, if you use really lean meat like I did, you might want to add a tiny bit of oil to the pan, to help with browning.
