Savory zucchini cake with bacon and cheese.
Ingredients
- 1-⅛ ounce, weight Zucchini
- 1 Onion, Large
- 4-½ ounces, weight Bacon
- 5 Eggs
- 1 cup Plus 1 Tablespoon All-purpose Flour
- 7 ounces, weight Cheese, Grated
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- ½ cups Oil
- Garlic Powder, To Taste
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
Grate zucchini. Chop onion and bacon. Beat eggs. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together. Season to taste.
Pour mixture into a large baking tray (40 cm x 30 cm or 15.7 x 12 inches) lined with baking paper or greased. Bake for about 30 minutes, until eggs are set and cake is golden brown.
