Description
It is a shame that sea buckthorn is not as famous as goji berries because basically they are the same. Sea buckthorn berries are extremely rich in antioxidants and vitamins, especially vitamin C and vitamin A. This a great drink and I’m sure you’ll love it.
Ingredients
- 1 pound, 1-⅔ ounces, weight Sea Buckthorn Berries
- Water, As Needed To Make 1 Liter Of Juice
- Honey, As Much As You Want
Preparation
Rinse the berries. Add them in your blender with some water and blend very well. Add some more water until you have 1 liter of juice.
Now the annoying part. Take a strainer and use it to separate the pulp and seeds from the juice. After most of the liquid is separated, squeeze the pulp some more until it is almost dry (we don’t want to waste any vitamins, do we?). I really don’t know if this works just as well with a juicer because I don’t have a very powerful one, but you can try.
Add honey or any other healthy sweetener (no sugar! Not good for you!).
