Simple Kenyan Chai Tea

    Description

    This is a mild chai, much like what I drank during my time in Kenya. You can use any non-dairy milk as well.

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups Milk
    • 1 cup Water
    • 3 bags (Individual Serving Size) Black Tea
    • Cinnamon, To Taste
    • Sugar, To Taste

    Preparation

    Combine the milk and water (two parts milk to one part water) in a sauce pan.

    Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer, adding the tea bags for a few minutes.

    Stir in cinnamon a little bit at a time to taste.

    Stir in sugar to taste as well.
