Simple Salsa

Description

A fool-proof salsa recipe for when you’re short on time, but want something tasty for those chips.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Fresh Tomatoes
  • 1 whole Jalapeno
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Paste
  • 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano

Preparation

Slightly chop tomatoes and place them in a food processor. Pulse until smooth.

Remove the stem, seeds and membranes from the jalapeno, or leave seeds and ribs if you like a little extra heat. Chop it roughly and place in the food processor and pulse until smooth.

Add all of the spices and pulse until just mixed. Put mixture in a small pot and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, or until salsa turns a darker red.

Serve hot or cold and enjoy!
