Description
This whiskey sour is smoky! Smoked lemons, bourbon, and a little bit of agave nectar make the perfect summer drink. And, you could always just make smoked lemonade.
Ingredients
- 12 Lemons
- 12 ounces, fluid Agave Nectar
- 12 ounces, fluid Bourbon
- 6 whole Maraschino Cherries, For Garnish (optional)
Preparation
Halve lemons and put on the smoker, pulp side up, for about 4 hours, never letting the smoker get past 250ºF. When they’re done, they will be slightly shrunken and golden and easy to squeeze.
Add 2 ounces each of smoked lemon juice, agave nectar, and bourbon to a shaker and pour over ice. Add a maraschino cherry for flair.
