Description

A vegan, smoky, and beautiful hummus recipe that can be made in a flash!

Ingredients

  • 2  Medium Sized Beets, Peeled And Quartered
  • 1-½ cup Cooked Or Sprouted Chickpeas, Rinsed And Drained
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • ¼ cups Tahini
  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Coriander
  • ⅛ teaspoons Cayenne
  • 3 Tablespoons Oil (I Used A Good Olive Oil)

Preparation

Place beets in food processor and blitz until well chopped. Add remaining ingredients except oil, and blitz, scraping down the sides, for 1 minute or so. Taste for seasoning and adjust.

With motor running, slowly add oil. The texture should be thick and creamy. Adjust the amount of lemon juice or oil as desired.
