Description

A sinfully scrumptious snowball-shaped cookie covered in powdered sugar perfect for the holiday season. This cute cookie is a cold weather classic. Enjoy eating while staying warm inside, no mittens necessary!

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Butter
  • ½ cups Powdered Sugar, Plus 2 To 3 Cups For Coating
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 2-¼ cups All-purpose Flour

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare cookie tray with silicone baking mat, parchment paper, cooking spray or you can use a nonstick pan.

In a medium-sized bowl, stir butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, vanilla and salt until well mixed. Add flour and mix well to create a soft dough.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls (make all same size so they cook evenly). Bake 15–17 minutes in oven. They are done when the bottom of cookie is golden brown.

Remove from oven. While cookies are still hot, take a few at a time and roll in powdered sugar. Coat the whole cookie in sugar (you can do this with tongs to avoid burning your fingers) then place on baking rack to cool.

Allow cookies to cool for 20 minutes. When cool, repeat rolling in powdered sugar for a final coating.

Place cookies on serving dish or in storage container. The most important step: enjoy!
