Description
These are a childhood favourite of mine and a classic during the holidays!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Soft Butter
- 1-½ cup Ground Walnuts
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 3 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Milk (only Use If Needed)
- 1-½ cup Powdered Sugar
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 375 F.
Combine the butter, walnuts, vanilla and flour together in a large bowl until well blended. If the mix seems a bit dry, add the milk.
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on an un-greased baking sheet spacing them about an inch apart. Bake the cookies for approximately 17-20 minutes. Remove from oven.
Set the cookies on a baking rack to cool. Once lukewarm, roll them in the powdered sugar. Set aside to thoroughly cool.
Once the cookies have completely cooled, roll them in powdered sugar once more for an extra sweet flavour and ‘snowy’ appearance.
