Made with half-and-half and semisweet chips, Snowday Peppermint Hot Chocolate is the perfect post-sledding treat.
Ingredients
- 1 quart Half-and-half
- 1 package (12 Oz. Package) Semi-sweet Chocolate Pieces
- ½ teaspoons Peppermint Extract
- Crushed Peppermint Pieces, For Garnish
- Miniature Marshmallows, Or Garnish
Preparation
In a medium saucepan, heat the half-and-half and chocolate chips over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and well-mixed (about 3-5 minutes). Add the peppermint extract. Serve while warm with miniature marshmallows and peppermint pieces.
