Description
This “local” cocktail is a take on a Gold Rush, and uses local Rye whiskey, honey from our neighbor and celery from our own backyard!
Ingredients
- FOR THE HONEY SYRUP:
- ½ ounces, fluid Water
- ½ ounces, fluid Honey
- FOR THE COCKTAIL:
- 1-½ ounce, fluid Rye Whiskey (Sonoma Distilling Company)
- ½ ounces, fluid Yellow Chartreuse
- ¾ ounces, fluid Lemon Juice
- ¾ ounces, fluid Honey Syrup
- 2 dashes Celery Bitters
- 1 sprig Celery, For Garnish
Preparation
For the honey syrup:
Mix warm water and honey until well incorporated.
For the cocktail:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a bucket glass. Add fresh ice and celery sprig garnish.
