    Description

    This “local” cocktail is a take on a Gold Rush, and uses local Rye whiskey, honey from our neighbor and celery from our own backyard!

    Ingredients

    • FOR THE HONEY SYRUP:
    • ½ ounces, fluid Water
    • ½ ounces, fluid Honey
    • FOR THE COCKTAIL:
    • 1-½ ounce, fluid Rye Whiskey (Sonoma Distilling Company)
    • ½ ounces, fluid Yellow Chartreuse
    • ¾ ounces, fluid Lemon Juice
    • ¾ ounces, fluid Honey Syrup
    • 2 dashes Celery Bitters
    • 1 sprig Celery, For Garnish

    Preparation

    For the honey syrup:
    Mix warm water and honey until well incorporated.

    For the cocktail:
    Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a bucket glass. Add fresh ice and celery sprig garnish.
