Description
A flavourful quiche that is on the lighter side. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 whole 9″ Pie Crust
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 whole Small Onion, Chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 4 cups Fresh Baby Spinach, Chopped
- 1 cup Feta, Crumbled
- 4 whole Eggs
- ½ cups Milk
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- ½ cups Cheddar Cheese, Grated
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Put your pie crust into a pie pan and set aside.
2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and saute until tender.
3. Turn off the heat. Add the spinach and stir it in gently until wilted. Add the feta and stir until combined. Spoon mixture into the pie crust.
4. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour it into the pie crust over the spinach mixture.
5. Bake for 15 minutes and then sprinkle the cheddar on top. Bake for 30–35 minutes more until center is set. Allow it to stand for 10 minutes before eating.
