While writing this post I realized that I know these are healthy ingredients but I did not know why. So, I did some homework and here is what I came up with. Blueberries come in at about 80 calories a cup, they are a great source for antioxidants and Vitamin C. One cup of strawberries contains over 100% of your RDA for Vitamin C. 1 cup of spinach contains about 20% of your RDA for fiber and over 100% of your RDA for Vitamin A.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Spinach Leaves
- 2 cups Orange Juice (I Sometimes Use Almond Milk)
- 1-½ cup Blueberries
- 1-½ cup Strawberries
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1 Handful Of Almonds
Preparation
Blend Ingredients to desired consistency. Add ice if/as needed.
