This quiche has simple ingredients and can be adjusted to suit particular tastes. Just use up whatever you have in your kitchen!
Ingredients
- 1 Frozen Pie Crust
- ⅛ cups Softened, Chopped Onion
- 4 Eggs
- ½ cups Cooked, Crumbled Sausage
- 1 cup Chopped, Cooked Spinach (if Previously Frozen, Make Sure Spinach Is Completely Drained)
- ¾ cups Shredded Chddar Cheese
- 3 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Lay crust in a pie pan or quiche pan. Poke holes in crust with a fork and pre-bake crust for 10 minutes.
Soften onions, either in a skillet or microwave.
In a bowl, mix eggs, crumbled sausage, spinach, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and softened onions. Mix until completely combined.
Pour mix into pie crust and bake for 30 minutes. At the 30-minute mark, take the quiche out of the oven and with a fork, stir the egg mixture. This will help ensure a more even cooking process.
Put the quiche back into the oven for another 10 minutes, or until completely cooked through. The amount of time needed to finish will vary.
