Description
This is a recipe I came up with while craving my honey BBQ wings (without having honey on hand).
Ingredients
- 30 whole Thawed Chicken Drummettes
- Onion Powder (season To Taste)
- Garlic Powder (season To Taste
- 1-½ Tablespoon Salt (I Like Kosher)
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce (see My Recipe Box For My Favorite)
- ⅓ cups Soy Sauce (I Used Light)
- ½ cups Agave Nectar
- ½ cups Molasses
Preparation
Heat your oven to 375 F.
1. In a large mixing bowl add your drummettes and season to taste with garlic powder, onion powder and add salt (mix well).
2. Lightly spray a large cookie sheet that you’ve lined with nonstick foil with oil/non-stick spray (for added protection).
3. Add you chicken to the sheet and place in oven for about 45 minutes to an hour.
4. In a small bowl mix the remaining ingredients. Remove the tray from the oven. Pour the sauce over your chicken mixing to make sure that the wings are coated (you may only need about 3/4 of this sauce but there is plenty left over if you want to cook more chicken or save it for the following day in the refrigerator).
5. Place tray back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes (tossing to coat each piece). Then take it out of the oven and enjoy immediately.
