Delicious and refreshing summer cocktail.
Ingredients
- 3 whole Basil Leaves
- 4 whole Medium Ripe Strawberries
- 1-½ ounce, fluid Vodka
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
- 6 ounces, fluid Soda Water
Preparation
Roll up basil leaves, put them on your cutting board and slice into thin strips. Cut tops off of the strawberries. Cut strawberries into small pieces.
Using a mortar and pestle muddle strawberries and basil together, squishing strawberries to release the juices. Alternately, you could take the strawberries for a quick spin in a blender without the basil.
Add muddled strawberries and basil into a large glass (I actually used a mason jar). Add vodka, honey, lime juice, and soda water. Stir with a spoon and pour into a glass with ice. Enjoy!
