Description
I love French toast, and so do my kids. So when I come across a recipe I usually try it. This variation is very good.
Ingredients
- 1 package Softened Cream Cheese, 8 Ounce Package
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Sour Cream
- ½ teaspoons Vanilla
- 2 cups Strawberries, Sliced Or Diced
- 8 slices Country Bread (such As Arnolds)
- 4 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Pie Spice
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
Preparation
Beat together cream cheese, sugar, sour cream and vanilla. Fold in strawberries, if using, and set aside.
Dip bread into beaten eggs that have been combined with pumpkin pie spice.
Fry bread on a hot buttered griddle or skillet for about 2 minutes per side. Top with strawberry mixture.
