Description
Despite the tantalizing fragrance and pretty pink hue, this strawberry vodka doesn’t have much flavour on its own. But its alluring perfume adds another dimension to mixed drinks such as a Cape Cod.
Ingredients
- 575 grams Fresh Strawberries (organic Is Best)
- 1 bottle (750 ML Size) Plain Vodka
Preparation
1. Wash, hull, and quarter the strawberries.
2. Place the strawberries in a 1-liter mason jar with a lid.
3. Pour the vodka over the strawberries. Seal the jar and give it a shake.
4. Store in a cool, dark space for 7 days. This allows the vodka to pull the flavour and colour from the strawberries.
5. Pour the mixture into a pitcher through a cheesecloth. Strain again through a coffee filter to remove any bits and pieces and strawberry hairs.
6. Store the infused vodka in an airtight bottle or jar and drink responsibly!
