Description
I decided to try this recipe from my German friend. They are easy and delicious!
Ingredients
- 12 whole Mushrooms
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- ⅓ cups Onions, Finely Diced
- 4 Tablespoons Plain Breadcrumbs
- 4 Tablespoons Whipping Cream, Divided
- 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Parsley, Chopped
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
- ¼ teaspoons Paprika
- 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
Wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp cloth. Gently remove the stems and set the caps aside. Dice all the stems fine.
Heat oil and saute the onions on medium-high heat until translucent. Add mushroom stems and saute about 3 to 4 minutes. Turn heat to low and add breadcrumbs, 3 tablespoons whipping cream, cayenne pepper, and parsley. Mix well and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Remove from the heat.
Place the mushroom caps on a greased sheet pan. Fill each cap with the mixture. Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of whipping cream over the filling and sprinkle the cheese over each.
Bake in a preheated 400ºF oven for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
