Description
Sugar-free and refreshing!
Ingredients
- 12 whole Lemons, Juiced, And Some Zest Reserved For Garnish
- 2 whole Limes
- 2 cups Susta (or Splenda, Or Real Sugar)
- 1 gallon, 14 tablespoons, 1-½ teaspoons, ⅝ pinches Club Soda
- Mint, For Garnish
Preparation
Wash the lemons and cut in half; squeeze as much juice as you can out of them. You should have 2 cups lemon juice, seeds removed. Repeat with the lime, adding to the lemon juice. Add the sugar substitute (I like Susta because it doesn’t have that “I’m drinking fake sugar” aftertaste—it tastes like sugar). Mix together to blend well. (Note: if you opt to use real sugar, you should heat it with 1 1/2 cup of water to dissolve the sugar first.)
In a glass gallon jug, add the lemon mix and the club soda. Cover securely and refrigerate.
Garnish with some lemon zest and mint.
You may use one to two cups of sugar/sugar substitute, depending on your taste.
