Sweet and easy lemonade perfect for hot summer days!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar
- 6 cups Cold Water, Divided
- 1-¼ cup Fresh Lemon Juice (or More, To Taste)
- Ice Cubes, To Serve
Preparation
1. Boil sugar and 2 cups of the water (this is to dissolve the sugar so that it doesn’t have a grainy texture.) Let it cool for about 10-15 minutes.
2. Pour in a large jug, probably about a gallon size jug.
3. Add the remaining 4 cups water into the jug and stir.
4. Juice the lemons. This depends on how juicy the lemons are. You will want to have about 1 1/4 cups to 1 1/2 cups of lemon juice.
5. Add this to the jug and stir.
6. Add about 5-7 ice cubes and let it sit until slightly cool.
7. Pour your self a nice ol’ glass and drink it. If you feel like it needs more lemon juice, add some more (same with the water and sugar).
