Description
Sweet and Sour Pork Stir Fry is an easy, and healthy, 30-minute dinner! This recipe is so simple and so delicious!
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
- 4 Tablespoons Hoisin Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- ¼ teaspoons Salt
- ¼ teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
- 2 heads Broccoli, Chopped
- 3 Tablespoons Water
- 1 Tablespoon Canola Oil
- 2 cups Thinly Sliced Carrots
- 1-½ pound Pork Tenderloin, Excess Fat Removed And Thinly Sliced
- 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Bean Sprouts, Drained
- 4 cups Cooked Rice
Preparation
Combine lime juice, hoisin sauce, water, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.
Place chopped broccoli and water in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 2–3 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Remove from the microwave and set aside.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat with canola oil. Add carrots and broccoli to one side of the pan and add pork to the other. Pour on half of sauce and gently stir while cooking. Cook until pork is white throughout, about 4–5 minutes. Add in remaining sauce and bean sprouts and cook for 1 more minute.
Remove stir fry from the oven and serve over rice.
Notes:
1. Depending on how thickly you slice your pork, it will need to cook longer in the pan. Regardless, cook the pork until the meat is white throughout.
2. Bean sprouts are fairly easy to find in the Asian section of your supermarket. If you can’t find them, feel free to leave them out.
