Description
Cheesy pasta with a taco twist.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Dry Pasta, Smaller Size Pasta Works Best
- 1 pound Ground Turkey
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- ½ teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 cup Salsa
- 3 cups Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease/spray an 8-inch baking dish.
Prepare pasta according to box instructions, drain and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground turkey with salt/pepper until no longer pink. Stir in salsa and let it simmer for 5 minutes or so.
Layer half each of the cooked pasta, meat and cheese into the dish. Repeat layers. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.
Serve topped with lettuce, sour cream, salsa, tomatoes, if desired.
