    Description

    Full of spice, sweetness and cream this Thai iced tea is a perfect treat after a spicy meal.

    Ingredients

    • 4 cups Water
    • 5 whole Black Tea Bags
    • 1 whole Star Anise
    • 1 pinch Cinnamon
    • ⅓ cups Honey
    • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
    • 4 Tablespoons Half-and-Half Cream

    Preparation

    In medium sauce pan bring water, tea bags, star anise and cinnamon to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in honey and vanilla extract. Let tea simmer for about 5 minutes while honey dissolves. Remove from heat and let steep for 20-30 minutes.

    Once cooled pour tea into glasses with ice. Top each glass with 1 tablespoon half-and-half. Garnish with mint, if desired.
