Description
A complicated name for a delightfully simple drink. This vodka version of a classic Sidecar cocktail is the perfect blend of sweet and tart and strong!
Ingredients
- 1 ounce, fluid Vodka
- 1 ounce, fluid Cointreau
- ½ ounces, fluid Lemon Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar For Rimming The Glass
- 2 whole Lemon Wedges, One For Garnish, One For Rimming The Glass
Preparation
This drink can be tart so the sugar rim is highly recommended.
Place a couple of tablespoons of sugar in a shallow dish. Run the edge of a cut lemon around the rim of your cocktail glass and dip the rim into the sugar. Set glass aside.
Combine the vodka, Cointreau and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes and shake well. Pour into the rimmed glass and garnish with a wedge of lemon.
