This may be one of the most famous cocktail variations: Phil Ward’s “The Last Ward” cocktail, a take on The Last Word.
Ingredients
- ¾ ounces, fluid Rye Whiskey (Sonoma Distilling Company)
- ¾ ounces, fluid Green Chartreuse
- ¾ ounces, fluid Lemon Juice
- ¾ ounces, fluid Maraschino Liqueur (Luxardo)
- Maraschino Cherry, For Garnish (optional)
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with Maraschino cherries if desired.
