Do you love tacos? Would you like a taco in a casserole? This dish works perfect for big families when tacos may be too tedious. Creamy, cheesy, and savory!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 whole Sweet Onion, Diced Then Minced
- 1 envelope (about 1 Oz. Packet) Taco Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 envelope (about 1.4 Oz. Size) Sazon Seasoning
- 1-½ cup Sour Cream
- 1-½ teaspoon Chili Powder
- 2 cups Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
- 2 cups Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
- 12 whole 6-inch Flour Or Corn Tortillas
- 1 cup Salsa (mild Or Hot)
Preparation
Brown ground beef in a skillet with water or oil with onion, taco seasoning, cayenne powder, garlic, and Sazon. Set aside.
In a small bowl, combine sour cream and chilli powder. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cheeses. Set aside.
In a large greased casserole glass dish, arrange 6 tortillas, overlapping, in the bottom. Spread with half of salsa, half of meat, half of sour cream mix, half of cheeses. Repeat for the second layer.
Bake at 375ºF uncovered for 30–35 minutes.
