Description
Delicious turkey meatballs in tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 Shallots, Halved
- 3 cloves Garlic, Crushed
- ½ Tablespoons Dried Oregano
- ½ bunches Parsley
- ½ bunches Cilantro
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- Kosher Salt And Freshly Ground Pepper
- 2 pounds Ground Turkey
- ½ cups Plain Breadcrumbs
- 1 Tablespoon Canola Oil
- 2 cups Tomato-Basil Sauce
Preparation
In a blender container or food processor, add shallots, garlic, oregano, parsley, cilantro, water, salt and pepper. Blend and reserve.
In a large bowl, add ground turkey, breadcrumbs and the herb and shallot mixture. Mix until well combined. Shape mixture into meatballs.
Heat oil in a large skillet. Cook meatballs in batches. Set aside.
In a large skillet, heat sauce. Add meatballs. Simmer uncovered for about 40 minutes or until sauce is reduced by half.
