Vanilla Cake Batter Pancakes

    Ingredients

    • 1-½ cup Cake Flour
    • 1-½ Tablespoon Baking Powder
    • ¼ teaspoons Salt
    • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
    • 1 cup Milk
    • 1 whole Egg
    • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
    • ¼ cups Melted Butter, Plus More For Frying Pancakes
    • Butter And Maple Syrup For Serving

    Preparation

    Whisk together the cake flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl.

    In a separate bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla.

    Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until just combined; do not overmix! Add in 1/4 cup melted butter and again, stir just until combined.

    Heat a pan or griddle over medium high heat. Melt about a tablespoon of butter and then fry the pancakes until golden. Serve with lots of butter and syrup!
