Vanilla Granola

    Description

    An easy to make and healthy snack, perfect by the handful or on top of yogurt. Yum!

    Ingredients

    • ⅔ cups Vegetable Oil
    • ½ cups Honey
    • ½ cups Brown Sugar, Packed
    • 2 Tablespoons Water
    • 1-½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    • 6 cups Quick Cooking Oats
    • 1 cup Slivered Almonds
    • 1 cup Dried Cranberries
    • ½ cups Flaked Coconut

    Preparation

    Preheat oven to 275ºF. Cook oil, honey, sugar, water and vanilla over medium heat until mixed. In a bowl, combine oats, almonds, craisins and coconut. Pour liquid mixture over oat mixture and stir so everything is coated.

    Spread granola on 2 baking pans (9×13). Bake for 50–60 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Cool and stir occasionally. Store in an airtight container.
