Description

I like putting cherries or orange slices on the side of my White Hot Chocolate, as you can see. Or perhaps instead of ground cinnamon you’d like to use a stick? This is a basic recipe but you can customize to your tastes. My friends always ask me for it, so I’m sharing it with everyone!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Milk Or Cream
  • 4 cups Eggnog
  • 8 teaspoons Vanilla Extract, Real Or Imitation
  • Cinnamon And Nutmeg To Taste

Preparation

For this drink, I seriously recommend using milk (1% or 2%) so the end result is not too thick, but if you prefer whole milk or cream instead, feel free. We enjoy it prepared in many ways, even using soy-based dairy products! (This is a lot of text for something so common sense and easy.)

Pour the milk, eggnog and vanilla into a saucepan and heat over a low flame until it is as warm as you’d like it.

Transfer to a festive mug or cup, sprinkle with nutmeg and/or cinnamon and enjoy.
