Whole Wheat and Oat Power Pancakes

    Description

    These oaty cakes pare nicely with a maple yogurt drizzle and will keep you full all morning long.

    Ingredients

    • ¼ cups Whole Wheat Flour
    • ¼ cups Rolled Oats
    • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
    • 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
    • ¼ teaspoons Cinnamon
    • 1 whole Egg
    • ¼ cups Milk
    • ½ teaspoons Vanilla
    • ½ cups Nonfat Greek Yogurt
    • 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup

    Preparation

    In bowl combine flour, oats, baking powder, sugar, and cinnamon.

    In a separate bowl combine egg, milk, and vanilla. Mix with dry ingredients just until combined.

    Heat griddle over medium high heat and spray with cooking oil. Drop 2 large cakes onto griddle and cook for 1-2 minutes, flip and cook another 1-2 minutes.

    Meanwhile make maple yogurt. Simply combine yogurt with maple syrup. Serve pancakes with a drizzle of maple yogurt.
