Description
White wine cookies are delicious sweet treats! If you haven’t tried them yet, here is your chance. They are easy to make and fast to bake.
Ingredients
- 270 grams Plain Flour
- 100 grams Caster Sugar
- ¼ teaspoons Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoons Sea Salt
- 80 milliliters Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 80 milliliters White Wine
- 5 Tablespoons Icing Sugar
Preparation
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, caster sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add oil and wine. Combine. Form into dough (this can be done in the mixing bowl or you can knead the dough on your worktop).
Roll dough into a sausage and cut equal size pieces. You should get about 20 pieces. Form these into balls. Using your finger or the end of a wooden spoon, make a hole in the middle of each ball and stretch the hole more.
Place them onto a baking tray lined with baking paper or silicone mat. Bake at 180ºC (356ºF) for 25 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown. Let cool a bit before coating in icing sugar.
Keep in an airtight container!
