Description

This smoothie tastes so much like pumpkin pie, you would never guess that health-promoting ingredients like spinach and turmeric are hiding in it! Since it is gluten-free, vegan, paleo or primal, and free of added sugar, it can be enjoyed by everyone, even those following a special diet. It’s the perfect breakfast or snack on the go!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Spinach Leaves, Raw
  • 1 cup Ice
  • 1 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 cup Applesauce
  • ¼ cups Almond Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1-½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoons Ginger, Ground
  • ½ teaspoons Turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoons Cloves
  • 1 can (13 1/2 Oz. Size) Coconut Milk
  • 8 ounces, fluid Water

Preparation

Place ingredients in blender in order listed (the heavier ingredients will push the spinach leaves down into the blades so they get blended well). Blend until smooth.
