Description
A banana smoothie with some oomph. The added arugula (also known as rocket) leaves gives this smoothie some zip. It’s the kind of smoothie you would have at lunchtime or in the afternoon with its sultry peppery flavours sweetened by the apples and grapes.
Ingredients
- 2 Apples, Cored
- 1 Banana
- ½ cups Corn Flakes
- 1 cup Non-fat Milk
- 6 leaves Arugula
- 1 stalk Celery
- 10 Red Grapes
Preparation
Chop up the apple. Skin the banana. Put all ingredients into a blender and put the lid on. Blend until smooth. You can garnish the smoothie with grapes and a single arugula leaf (if you’re feeling dangerous).
