This delicious dish replaces sour cream with Greek yogurt and adds chunks of avocado instead of using guacamole. Sure to please your guests for Superbowl parties!
Ingredients
- 1 can Refried Beans (16 Oz Can)
- 2 teaspoons Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- Coarse Salt And Pepper
- ¼ cups Taco Seasoning
- ½ cups Plain Greek Yogurt
- ½ cups Extra-sharp Cheddar Cheese, Grated
- 2 cans Chopped Green Chiles (4 Oz Cans)
- 2 Plum Tomatoes, Chopped
- 1 Avocado, Halved, Pitted, Peeled And Diced
- 1 cup Shredded Romaine Lettuce
- 2 Scallions, Chopped
- Tortilla Chips For Serving
Preparation
In a medium bowl, combine beans, lime juice, and water then season with salt and pepper. Spread beans onto the bottom of an 8×8 serving dish. In a small bowl mix taco seasoning with Greek yogurt. Spread over beans. Top with cheese, chilies, tomatoes, avocado, lettuce, and scallions. Serve with tortilla chips.
