Crab Cream Cheese Ball

Description

This cheese ball was the easiest recipe to whip together. It can be made ahead of time and put in the fridge until you are ready to bring it out. Serve it with your favorite crackers or vegetables. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Onion, Chopped Finely
  • 1 can (6 Oz. Size) Lump Crab, Drained Well
  • 1 package (8 Ounce Package) Cream Cheese, Softened To Room Temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley Flakes
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • ⅛ teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • ⅓ cups Shredded Colby-jack Cheese
  • ¾ cups Pecans, Chopped

Preparation

In a medium sized bowl mix together all the ingredients except the pecans, mixing until smooth and well combined. Form this into a ball, place it on a plate and place into the fridge to let it firm up a bit (20-30 minutes). Remove it from the fridge and roll in the pecans or pat the pecans into the cheese ball until it is completely covered.

Makes approximately six 1/2 cup servings.
