    Description

    Brie and Apple Grilled Cheese Sandwich, extra delicious with apples! An adult grilled cheese that feels so fancy but is so easy to make!

    Ingredients

    • 2 Tablespoons Slivered Almonds
    • ⅔ cups Apples, Diced (I Like Fuji)
    • 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
    • ½ teaspoons Ground Ginger
    • ½ teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
    • 4 ounces, weight Brie Cheese, Sliced
    • 4 slices Sourdough Bread (or Gluten-Free Bread If Needed)
    • 2 Tablespoons Butter

    Preparation

    Preheat oven to 400ºF and spread slivered almonds on a small baking sheet. Bake until lightly browned, about 4–5 minutes.

    Mix toasted almonds, diced apples, maple syrup, ginger and cinnamon together in a small bowl.

    Divide Brie slices between all slices of bread.

    Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat. Once butter is melted, place half of the slices of bread into the pan, cheese-side up. Quickly divide the apple chutney between those slices bread, and top with the remaining slices of bread, cheese-side down. Cook until golden brown, about 1–2 minutes, and then flip and repeat on the other side.

    Devour!
