Buffalo Style Hot Wings

Description

Delicious, spicy, hot, Buffalo style wings.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE WINGS:
  • 15 whole Wings, Split At Joing (or 30 Pieces If You’re Buying Pre-cut Wings)
  • ¼ cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil , Or Enough To Coat The Wings
  • 1 teaspoon Salt And Pepper, Adjust To Taste
  • Flour, For Dredging If Frying Wings
  • FOR THE SAUCE:
  • ½ sticks Butter
  • ¼ cups Honey
  • ¾ cups Frank’s Red Hot Sauce (or Any Hot Sauce Of Your Choice)

Preparation

For grilled wings:
Coat the wings with olive oil, salt and pepper and grill over low heat for 60–75 minutes.

For baked wings:
Place the wings on a rimmed baking sheet. Coat with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and bake at 425°F for 20–30 minutes.

For fried wings:
Lightly coat the wings with flour, salt and pepper. Fry at 375°F for 9 minutes.

For Buffalo-style hot sauce:
Melt the butter, then add the honey and hot sauce, stirring until combined. Simmer for several minutes, stirring occasionally.

When the wings and sauce are done, place the wings in the sauce pan (about 6 at a time) and stir/toss to coat, then remove from pan and serve immediately.
