Ingredients
- 2 bunches Kale
- 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt And Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Nutritional Yeast
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- ½ teaspoons Asafoetida (optional)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 225ºF. Wash all of the kale and remove the main stem that runs through the middle of each leaf. Pull apart any large pieces of kale that would be too big for one bite.
Spread kale on a baking sheet. Be sure not to overcrowd the sheet, otherwise the kale will not crisp properly. Drizzle oil over top of kale, as well as salt, pepper, and remaining spices. Massage everything into the kale for 1–2 minutes so that it is well-coated.
Bake 20 minutes, then take out, flip each kale leaf over, and put in the oven again to bake for another 20 minutes.
Take out of the oven after it’s done cooking and enjoy your raw vegan kale chips!!
