Description
Hummus gets a spicy twist from some chipotle peppers.
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Garbanzo Beans
- 3 Tablespoons Reserved Garbanzo Bean Liquid
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 whole Chipotle Pepper In Adobo
- ½ teaspoons Paprika
- ½ teaspoons Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Lime Juice
- ½ teaspoons Kosher Salt
- ½ teaspoons Lime Zest
Preparation
Combine garbanzo beans, reserved liquid, olive oil, chipotle pepper, paprika, cumin, lime juice and kosher salt in a food processor. Pulse until smooth.
Transfer the hummus to a bowl, sprinkle with lime zest. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve.
