Description
Here is the recipe for my famous guacamole. The “fake-out” comes from the fact that you don’t have to chop, dice or measure anything. Just grab a container of pre-made pico de gallo from your supermarket, 1 lime and a few avocados.
Ingredients
- 5 Ripe Avocados
- 1 Fresh Lime
- ½ containers (about 16 Oz. Size) Fresh Pico De Gallo, Or Up To Twice The Amount, To Taste
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Preparation
Smash ripened avocados in a medium-sized bowl. Add fresh squeezed lime juice.
Add the pico de gallo (found in the produce section of your local grocery store). Add salt, adjusting to taste.
And here’s a secret that you can take to the bank: Save one of the pits from the avocado and throw it into the bowl with your finished guac. It will prevent your guac from turning brown for 3 days in the fridge.
