Ingredients
- 2 slices Bread
- 1 teaspoon Butter, Or As Needed
- 2 Eggs
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
Preparation
Notes:
You can use any bread you like. I like to use a thicker bread—it holds in the egg better.
Use a cookie cutter or a glass to cut the bread. I’ve used a coffee up on these.
Cut a hole in the center of the bread. Butter one side of the bread and place the dry side down on a buttered fry pan. Crack the egg in the hole and let it cook for a few minutes. When the egg starts to set, you can flip it over and continue cooking. Add salt and pepper to your liking.
